Pricing can vary based upon travel time & facilities costs should the preferred locations not be available or suitable for the athlete. For the most favorable pricing, bundle with a commitment to a Startline Coaching training program and build out your optimal training program.

Note: The safety of all athletes, coaches, and staff is of paramount concern as we collectively face the health and safety risks of COVID-19. All Startline Coaching programs follow USA Triathlon Safe Return to Multisport Guidelines and Return to Racing Recommendations for Race Directors and the directives issued by federal, state and local authorities. All athletes, coaches, & staff engaged in Startline Coaching programs are expected to follow the USA Triathlon Return to Racing recommendations for Athletes as well as Startline Coaching Return to Training Safety Code of Conduct.

Note: As of Oct 1, 2021, and without exception, all participants in Startline Coaching programs must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to attendance at any and all in-person Startline Coaching training or clinic sessions.

Expert coach consultation:

Consult with a coach to:

  • Review your past training & racing performances with a cycling & triathlon coach trained in power, pace, & heart rate based training
  • Draw out insights about your performances.
  • Identify your key limiters and areas of focus for the future.
  • Work together to map out a high level plan of training objectives that are matched to the requirements of your key races.
  • Plan your year on your own with greater confidence, or work with Startline Coaching to build up that plan for you
  • Schedule additional consultations to validate your plan and adjust as the season progresses.

Typical initial consultation: 1-2 hours.

List Price:

  • Video consultation over Zoom: $125/hour

Note: Athletes must provide all training data via TrainingPeaks prior to consult.

Video analysis:

Video recording & reviewing your form with an expert coach is a very quick way to understand key changes that need to be made to your technique to improve performance.

Each video analysis session includes:

  • Video recording
  • Immediate in-session feedback
  • One on one video review with each athlete over Zoom
  • Written summary with video footage & recommendations

List Price:

  • Swim video analysis: $400/athlete (1 athlete)
  • Swim video analysis: $260/athlete (2 athletes)
  • Swim video analysis: $200/athlete (4 athletes)
  • Run video analysis: $280/athlete (1 athlete)
  • Run video analysis: $235/athlete (2 athletes)

Left/right power balance testing & analysis:

With the advent of power meters capable of delivering true data on left/right power delivery, it is now possible to understand and prescribe an approach to address these imbalances to avoid injury as training volume increases and find additional power through improved pedaling efficacy. There is often an opportunity to make small changes with substantive benefit. Work with cycling and triathlon coach trained in power based training.

Using powerful tools such as WK05, get meaningful insight into this powerful data. Expert coaching from Startline Coaching will:

  • Review your historical power meter training & racing data
  • Prescribe a formal testing protocol
  • Provide a written assessment on performance improvement opportunities
  • Make specific recommendations on next steps

List Price:

  • Power balance testing & analysis – $375/athlete

Note: Athletes must provide all training data via TrainingPeaks prior to consult. Power data must provide true Left/Right vs estimated power balance data.

Private & small group lessons:

One on one or small group lessons provide a means to improve quickly. Lessons are tailored to the specific level of development of the athlete.
