Group Training

Whether you are looking to qualify for Elite competition, race further or faster, or simply get back in the game, Startline Coaching programs offer something for you. All programs support a wide range of ages, and levels of athleticism. Both men & women are supported equally in their development. Success is all about consistency and sport specific knowledge. 

Expect to be challenged and to come out of these programs a more knowledgeable athlete.

Note: The safety of all athletes, coaches, and staff is of paramount concern as we collectively face the health and safety risks of the COVID-19 pandemic. All Startline Coaching programs follow USA Swimming best practices, USA Triathlon Safe Return to Multisport Guidelines and Return to Racing Recommendations for Race Directors and the directives issued by federal, state and local authorities. All athletes, coaches, & staff engaged in Startline Coaching programs are expected to follow the USA Triathlon Return to Racing recommendations for Athletes as well as Startline Coaching Return to Training Safety Code of Conduct.

Note: As of Oct 1, 2021, and without exception, all participants in Startline Coaching programs must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to attendance at any and all in-person Startline Coaching training or clinic sessions.

Off-Season Run Focus
12-Wk 10mi/10K PR

  • A comprehensive run program for all levels of athletes seeking to develop their durability and speed. Culminates in a 10K or 10M race event.
  • Program: 2 group workouts/week + solo workouts
  • Dates: 10/23/21 – 1/15/22
  • Location: Prospect Park West & 15 St.

Off-Season Bike Focus
12-Wk FTP Builder

  • Indoor (Zwift) group training program for cyclists & triathletes to develop power and endurance.
  • Program: 3 group workouts/week + solo workouts
  • Dates: 10/26/21 – 1/16/22
  • Location: Zoom + Zwift

26-Wk Marathon
race preparation

$650*

  • A comprehensive run program for runners seeking to peak for a Spring Marathon. Prepare for the Boston or Brooklyn marathon.
  • Program: 2 group workouts/week + solo workouts
  • Dates: 10/23/21- 4/24/22
  • Location: Prospect Park West & 15 St.

24-Wk Distance cycling preparation

$740*

  • Indoor (Zwift) group training program for cyclists & triathletes seeking to extend their indoor training & build additional climbing strength
  • Program: 3 group workouts/week + solo workouts
  • Dates: 10/26/21 – 4/10/22
  • Location: Zoom + Zwift

Triathlon & swim programs will be announced by Nov 1, 2022. Stay tuned.


Note: * This program is a USAT sanctioned event. As such, additional USAT waiver fees will be assessed by USAT for NON USAT members. USAT Sanctioning 1) provides the gold standard of insurance protection for the program, athlete, and venue and; 2) delivers athletes peace of mind by ensuring industry wide safety standards. Startline Coaching recommends all athletes become USAT annual members rather than pay individual program USAT waiver fees.

In addition, a credit card processing fee of $25 will be assessed. Target race registration fees, accommodation, and other associated costs are not included in the fee for this program. No refunds are available for this program.
